5. Shipping and Delivery

• Shipping addresses cannot be changed after order processing begins

6. Returns and Refunds

6.1 Cooling-Off Period

In accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA):

• You have 7 business days to return products for a refund (cooling-off period)
• Products must be unused, in original packaging, with all tags attached
• You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective

7. Classifieds Section

7.1 User-Generated Listings

Our classifieds section allows users to post items for sale. By posting a listing, you agree:

• All information provided is accurate and truthful
• You have the right to sell the items listed
• You will honor all commitments made in your listing
• You are responsible for all transactions with buyers
• You will not post illegal, fraudulent, or misleading content

7.2 Our Role

• We are a platform provider only and not a party to transactions between users
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings or the quality of items
• We are not liable for disputes between buyers and sellers
• We reserve the right to remove any listing at our discretion
• We may charge fees for featured or premium listings

7.3 Seller Verification (Optional)

Posting a classified does not depend on verification. Completed verification earns a verified badge on your profile and listings:

Verification Process

• Optional trust badge: You may submit ID and selfie for manual review.
• Acceptable Identification: South African driver's license, passport, or ID card/book
• Document Upload: Clear, legible photo or scan of your identification document
• Review Timeline: Our team aims to review submissions within a few business days
• Notification: You will be emailed if more information is needed or when a decision is made

Legal Basis for ID Collection

We collect identification documents for the following lawful purposes under South African law:

• Fraud Prevention: To prevent fraudulent listings and protect consumers
• Trust & Safety: To verify the identity of sellers and maintain platform integrity
• Dispute Resolution: To assist in resolving disputes between buyers and sellers
• Legal Compliance: To comply with POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act), FICA (Financial Intelligence Centre Act), and the Consumer Protection Act

Data Protection and Security

• Secure Storage: All identification documents are stored in encrypted, access-controlled systems
• Limited Access: Only authorized administrators can view verification documents
• Retention Period: Documents are retained for 90 days after verification for audit purposes, then securely deleted
• No Sharing: We will never share your identification documents with third parties except as required by law

Verification Status

• Verified Badge: Approved sellers receive a badge displayed where we show verification
• Listing Visibility: Listings remain visible regardless of badge; misuse may lead to moderation

• Revocation: We may revoke verification if fraudulent activity is detected

Choosing Not to Verify

You can post classifieds without verifying. Verification is only for buyers who prefer an extra confidence signal:

• You may browse, buy, sell, or post classifieds without uploading ID.
• You will not receive a verified badge until the process succeeds.

Trust & Safety: Seller verification helps build a trusted community where buyers can shop with confidence and legitimate sellers can reach serious customers.

8. Vehicle Enquiries and Partner Services

8.1 Vehicle Listings

• Vehicle listings are sourced from partner dealerships
• We are not the seller and do not own the vehicles listed
• Information is provided by partners and may not always be current
• Availability is not guaranteed and must be confirmed with the dealership

8.2 Enquiry Forwarding

• We forward your enquiries to partner dealerships on your behalf
• We are not responsible for partner responses or lack thereof
• Partners handle all sales negotiations and transactions directly with you
• We are not liable for any issues arising from partner transactions

9. Intellectual Property Rights

9.1 Our Content

All content on our website, including but not limited to:

• Text, graphics, logos, images, videos
• Software, code, and website design
• Product descriptions and photography
• Trademarks and brand names
